The Club formed on 14th July 1958. It’s members consist predominantly of BMW motorcycle riders but anyone who owns, or has owned a BMW motorcycle, motorcar or aeroplane engine can apply for full membership. We also encourage associate members who own other brands.
The prime objective is to encourage motorcycling with all Club activities circling around that objective.

We love to see visitors and new members at our monthly meetings held at the Atujara Motorcycle Club rooms King Street Pennington, on the first Friday of each month at 8pm. You can join using the membership form by going to the ‘Join’ page of this website.

Family membership provides for each adult member of the family to vote and enables children to be recognised for their involvement within the club. Family involvement is encouraged with the Club offering family days like the annual Toy Run and Xmas BBQ.

Riding motorcycles is what we love to do. There are many rides organised by the club each year. From short rides to day rides of around 300km and weekends spent travelling a little further. Rides organised by the BMW Owners Club of SA are always well planned in advance, browse to the 'Calendar' or ‘Magazine’ page where you will find upcoming rides listed.

The Club offers companionship of fellow enthusiasts; membership of BMW Clubs Australia; biennial Club Rallies; organised rides, weekends away; participation in the 24 hour trial; general information on changes to motorcycle legislation and  rides with other state clubs.
